Stage Door Players to Present LET NOTHING YOU DISMAY

Continuing the 43rd Season of Dunwoody's very own professional theatre, STAGE DOOR PLAYERS presents the return of the Suzi Bass Award winning holiday comedy, Let Nothing You Dismay by Atlanta's own Topher Payne. Shannon Eubanks directs. The show opens on Friday, December 2, and runs through Sunday, December 18. Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 2:30pm. Single tickets are on sale now at the box office (770-396- 1726), or online at www.stagedoorplayers.net. Tickets are $30; senior, student, and youth discounts are available.

This production has limited run dates for three weeks only from November 3rd through the 20th of 2016, with performances Wednesdays through Sundays. Acclaimed Atlanta actor and director Carolyn Cook (Artistic Director of Theatre du Reve and Artistic Associate at the former Georgia Shakespeare) directs the production. Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET) Artistic Director Robert J. Farley has announced an exciting lineup of plays for the Company's 24th season of professional theatre in North Fulton County. Following an extraordinarily successful record-breaking year, the bar has been set high for GET as programming continues to grow and expand. The 2016-2017 season will take a journey through love, death, time, foreign lands, freedom fights, and even back to 1956 Memphis, Tennessee. With musicals, comedy, drama, and a world premiere, GET will once again offer an entertaining, enlightening, and illuminating variety of theatre for our patrons throughout north Georgia and beyond. In addition to the mainstage subscription series, GET will produce a four-play Theatre for Young Audiences series, and a four concert Big Band series.

The Suzi Nomination Party, which rotates venues, was hosted this year by Horizon Theatre. Guest announcers included the ladies of The Weird Sisters Theatre Project: Kelly Criss, Veronika Duerr, Jaclyn Hofmann, Tiffany Porter, and Megan Rose.

The Suzi Nomination Party, which rotates venues, was hosted this year by Horizon Theatre. The 17th Annual Essential Theatre Festival kicks off July 24 at the West End Performing Arts Center, located at 945 Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard in Atlanta. This summer, Essential will be presenting the World Premiere of the 2015 playwriting award winner, Lillian Likes It by Joshua Mikel, and the Professional World Premiere of The Old Ship of Zion, by Columbus, GA native Natalia Naman.
