ALICE IN WONDERLAND JR. to Open 6/27 at Newnan Theatre

(6/18/2013) - Summer at Newnan Theatre Company is totally dedicated to kids. In addition to the weekly Kids Camp and the Academy of Theatre Arts, NTC is offering Summer Series - 2013, three shows performed entirely by children and teens.

ANYTHING GOES National Tour to Sail into The Fox Theatre, 8/20-25

(6/18/2013) - The national tour of Roundabout Theatre Company's ANYTHING GOES, the new Broadway revival of Cole Porter's timeless classic musical theatre masterpiece, will make its Atlanta premiere August 20-25, 2013 at The Fox Theatre as part of the Theater of the Stars 2013-2014 series.

Kicking the season off on 9/11 is The Guys by Anne Nelson, featuring Jasmine Guy and Brian Kurlander; next, Harabel by and featuring Jonida Beqo; following the turn of the year is Best of Enemies by Mark St. Germain; and closing out the season is Horton Foote's Dividing the Estate. Making a return for the holidays is Gifts of the Magi by Mark St. Germain.

Center for Puppetry Arts Announces 'Wild, Wooly, & Wonderful' Special Exhibit

(5/23/2013) - Center for Puppetry Arts has announced its newest special exhibit: Wild, Wooly, & Wonderful opened in April. The wonders of nature have long inspired art, writing and performance. Puppeteers everywhere, from Africa to South America, use animals to tell stories about their cultures, traditions and everyday life. This exhibit showcases different ways animals are represented by artists and how those representations relate the artist's cultural heritage and creative talent.
