Theatrical Outfit Presents TWO DRINK MINIMUM World Premiere, Now thru 11/18

Theatrical Outfit has announced TWO DRINK MINIMUM, a world premiere comedy by William Balzer about families and the phone lines that bind them. Tonight, October 25 – November 18, 2012 at the Balzer Theater at Herren's. Directed by Scott Warren. Starring William S. Murphy, Susan Shalhoub Larkin and Matthew Myers.

A life-long journey between a boy and his mother through four stages of her life: the Great Depression, World War II, before her son got married and after her son got married. As he endures poignant and often comical growing pains, a boy becomes a man and his mother must learn to grow with her son and his family.

Theatrical Outfit's show will play The Balzer Theater at Herren's, 84 Luckie Street, NW in Atlanta, Ga., October 24 – November 18, 2012. Performances are Wednesday – Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Group discounts available; call Cherice Norman at 678.528.1497.

THE CAST

William previously appeared at Theatrical Outfit in Driving Miss Daisy, Around the World in 80 Days (Suzi Winner – Best Supporting Actor), A Confederacy of Dunces, The Chase, A Lesson Before Dying, and The God Committee (Suzi Winner – Best Ensemble). Bill just directed Our Town for The Renaissance Project, and can be seen with Colin Firth in the upcoming film Devil's Know, directed by Atom Egoyan.

Susan was last seen at Theatrical Outfit in To Kill a Mockingbird. Other credits: Barbara Award – Best Actress in a Play for her role as Aida in Over the River and Through the Woods at Aurora Theatre. Matt is excited to be making his Theatrical Outfit debut in TWO DRINK MINIMUM. A graduate of the University of West Florida, Matthew has been performing in the Atlanta area for the past 13 years. Favorite Atlanta credits include Mojo at Dad's Garage Theatre, 1940s Radio Hour with Theatre in the Square and Waiting for Godot with Theatre Gael.
