Photo Flash: Broadway Dreams Foundation Triple Threat Extreme Workshop in Atlanta

Daytime star Nicholas Rodriguez (ABC's "One Life to Live"), Tony Award winner Jarrod Emick (Damn Yankees) and MTV star Paul Canaan (Legally Blonde) arrived in Atlanta, GA on Sunday, January 17, 2010 to instruct, encourage and inspire 50 of the city's youth to follow their Broadway Dreams at the The Broadway Dreams Foundation's Triple Threat Extreme workshop presented at RISPA (480 North Main Street, Alpharetta, GA).

Attendees of the BDF Triple Threat Extreme receive training in acting, dance and vocal performance by savvy Broadway veterans who will share their invaluable insider knowledge on the skills needed to make it in show business.

The Broadway Dreams Foundation will present two more expanded workshops in Georgia this summer:

SUMMER MINI INTENSIVE Griffin, GA June 3 - 5, 2010

Students will attend a series of classes in acting, dance and vocal performance by some of Broadway's brightest stars for four consecutive days from 9 am - 5 pm. Auditions for the Griffin Summer Mini Intensive will be held on March 13 and May 2, 2010 at Studio D School of Dance (111 Hill Street, Griffin, GA 30223).

Students should be prepared to sing 16 - 32 bars of a song to a CD they provide.

SUMMER INTENSIVE

Atlanta, GA June 7 - 12, 2010

The BDF Summer Intensive is a full week of educational classes where students will prefect their audition skills, receive vocal coaching, learn how to select the proper song, perfect the art of cold readings, receive college and career planning guidance, receive dance training and professional headshots and resume writing tips. Additionally, students will prepare to perform a revue style show at the end of the week alongside the Broadway faculty.

Auditions for the Atlanta Summer Intensive will be held at RISPA (480 N. Main St., Alpharetta, GA 30009) on January 23, February 21, March 28, May 2 and May 15, 2010. Students should be prepared to sing 16 - 32 bars of a song to a CD they provide.

There will be a second set of auditions on May 16, 2010 for featured performers in the week-end revue.
