Craig A Meyer Stars in ALMOST ELTON JOHN Tribute Show 1/21-5/05

ALMOST ELTON JOHN AND THE ROCKET BAND stars multi-talented singer and pianist Craig A. Meyer whose credits include appearances in Film, Television, even Broadway, accompanied by "The Rocket Band." The show tours all around America at every venue from private parties to concert halls.

His next show will be January 21, 2012 at The Cox Capitol Theatre. Craig A. Meyer is known to be one of the premiere Elton John impersonators in the industry. His tribute show celebrates Elton John's music from the early 1970's through today. Barry Manilow says, "Craig A Meyer is one of the most talented people I have ever worked with.

In music, Meyer has toured internationally and recorded with music legends Barry Manilow and Frankie Valli, and has headlined for Princess Cruises around the world. Throughout Meyer's busy career, he was repeatedly approached about his striking resemblance to Elton John and his uncanny ability to sound like the rock and roll legend. Meyer was eventually persuaded to expand his repertoire and began impersonating Sir Elton John. Today, Meyer is known to be one of the best Elton John Tribute acts in the industry. His strong vocals, looks, and amazing talent on the piano has every audience remembering “When Rock Was Young”. Meyer performs in the US and overseas in casino showrooms, theatres, corporate events and special events. On Broadway, Meyer created the role of Clinton Badger in MGM’s classic Meet Me In St Louis and toured nationally in Cats as Skimbleshanks, The Red Caboose in Starlight Express, and Mike Nulty in Irving Berlin’s White Christmas.

Television and film appearances include guest-starring roles on “Will & Grace”, “Good Morning Miami”, “Family Law”, “General Hospital”, and “Fernwood 2nite” as well as working with Alan Menken on Disney’s Aladdin, and with Tim Rice and Elton John himself on The Lion King.
