Academy Theatre Presents ART, Now thru 8/19

The Academy Theatre presents the stageplay ART by Yasmina Reza (Gods of Carnage). The show runs from tonight, August 4th to the 19th on Saturdays and Sundays with a Monday August 13th special performance!

When Serge buys an abstract expressionist white on white painting, his friendships are thrown into tumult on the verge of his friend's Ivan's wedding. Yasmine Reza's (Gods of Carnage) play explores friendship, aesthetics, and what loyalties we owe one another. It's not just black and white.

"What makes this show compelling is that conflict that erupts out of nowhere among the friends. The show really examines what the basis of friendship is!"

The cast includes Cameron Bryce as Marc, Dan Ford as Serge, and David Plunkett as Ivan. Art is directed by Chris Rushing and Stage Managed by Chance Caruthers.
